Sip & Snip!

Sip and Snip is a fun, classy evening event hosted by Yanagi Botanic Arts in collaboration with Yobel.  Participants will get to choose their drink from the Yobel Bar and then venture into the studio and choose a container.  A freestyle ikebana lesson will be given to fit the vibe of the evening. Each person gets one container and one drink included in their ticket price.  Drinks may include Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Grenache, Red Blends, Malbec, Colorado Brews, Whiskey, Gin, Tequila, Kombucha, Poppi Soda, and Nitro Cold Brew. 

After everyone has selected their drinks and containers, then participants will create a freestyle arrangement with their own creative expression.  Enjoy arranging with your own intuition, imagination, and personality.  Self-expression and a collaboration with the materials will be a key component when creating your arrangement.  The selection of plant materials will be based on but not limited to, locally obtainable material, seasonal material, special material, and/or simply what looks inspiring.  A demo will be given at the beginning to help participants better understand the materials and techniques for their freestyle arrangement.

• Class will be held at Yanagi Botanic Arts Studio located inside Yobel/ The Look Up Gallery building.
