Harmony of the Heart: Valentine's Class

Harmony of the Heart is a special Ikebana class for couples looking for an unique experience on Valentines Day.  Each couple will be given their own containers to create a freestyle ikebana arrangement and then together, both containers will need to be united to make one overall arrangement.  The containers can be combined however the couple wishes.  Various combinations can be used such as, but not limited to, using containers of the same shape, different shapes, and/or utilizing glass containers. Think about placement of the containers such as putting them side by side, placing one in front of the other, or nesting a smaller one inside a larger one.  Take into consideration the unique extension of space and the originality of the overall appearance of using two containers.  The arrangement can be composed inside or outside the container or extended to both sides.  Enjoy arranging as a couple with your own creativity, personality, and intuition.  A demo will be given at the beginning to help better understand the materials and techniques for the Harmony of the Heart class.   

•Ticket price includes a couple (2 people) and 2 containers plus an assortment of plant materials to arrange with.

• Class will be held at Yanagi Botanic Arts Studio located inside Yobel/ The Look Up Gallery building.
